Four ways up, one point of entry
Every pathway carries different g-environments, exposure durations and payload constraints. We match your investigation to the platform, and can step you up the ladder as your work matures.
Parabolic (0-10km)
Repeated ~20–25 second windows of true microgravity across a single flight campaign. The fastest, lowest-cost way to iterate: shake down hardware, run human physiology protocols, or observe fluid and combustion behaviour dozens of times in one day.
Best for rapid iteration, hardware validation
Stratospheric (30-50km)
High-altitude balloon flight into the near-space environment: extreme cold, low pressure and elevated radiation, sustained for hours rather than seconds. A cost-effective proving ground for materials, optics, sensors and atmospheric science ahead of a rocket commitment.
Best for materials, optics, atmospheric science
Suborbital (>250 km)
Past the Kármán line for several minutes of true, uninterrupted microgravity, with higher g-loads at launch and re-entry. This is the pathway behind Cambrian's HAEMBIOSPACE mission, flying biological samples for cancer research on SSC Space's MAPHEUS-17 sounding rocket.

Orbital & low Earth orbit (350-450km)
Sustained microgravity from days to months aboard orbital platforms, including current and next generation stations. For investigations that need time, not just weightlessness, to reveal an effect.
Best for longitudinal biology, pharma
Nearly 60 years of flight heritage, working quietly in the background
Getting an experiment safely into a launch vehicle is its own discipline: structural qualification, thermal control, power, telemetry, range safety. Cambrian and its launch partners carry that heritage so you don't have to build it from scratch. Our role is to translate a research question into a flight-ready payload, integrate it onto a proven vehicle, and hand your data and samples back. You design the investigation. We design the box it flies in. Â
